University of East Anglia announces scholarship programme worth up to £8,000 per year for Indian students
The University of East Anglia (UEA) is a campus university located in 320 acres of parkland on the outskirts of Norwich. It is home to Norwich Research Park, one of Europe’s biggest community of researchers in the area of environment, health and plant science.
As a campus university, students can access everything they need within walking distance of the universities halls of residence. On the campus students can find a bank, bars, shop, cafes, a post office, launderette, a book shop and a bike shop – all within minutes of each other.
Located just 15 minutes from the vibrant city of Norwich which is rich in history and culture, students have plenty to see and do. UEA is easy to access and is just one hour to Cambridge and less than two hours to London, by train. Norwich also has its own international airport, located just 20 minutes from UEA by car.
Who can apply?
The UEA International scholarship scheme is designed to reward applicants who have been offered a place to study with UEA and who can clearly and concisely explain how studying at UEA will help them to make an outstanding contribution to their chosen field of study as well as the wider UEA community.
These scholarships are open for international fee-paying students with eligible applicants to the scholarship considered on one of UEA’s monthly panels which run between February and May 2021.
Note: The scholarships are not applicable for programmes in MB/BS Medicine, BSc Physiotherapy and BSc Occupational Therapy.GREAT Scholarships offers 27 scholarships from UK universities, across a variety of subjects for students from Pakistan. Each scholarship is worth a minimum of £10,000 towards tuition fees for a one-year postgraduate course.
Each scholarship is jointly funded by the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign and the British Council with participating UK higher education institutions.
This scholarship is worth £4,000 per year of study for three years of the bachelor’s degree with the best submissions considered for an award of £8,000 per year for three years.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis, meaning that the sooner you apply, the sooner you will find out whether you have been successful.
Candidates must be in receipt of an offer in offer to be considered for an award and offer holders for September 2021 intake can submit their scholarship application until April 30, 2021.
